Job Description

Further to our continuous growth, we are looking for a Manager who will be responsible for the day to day accounting, corporate and tax aspects for a client portfolio (mostly operational firms and holding companies).

 

YOUR MAIN ACTIVITIES

  • Handling Clients’ portfolio and monitoring all the aspect of the client company’s life including the incorporation,
  • Direct communication with the clients,
  • Monthly and quarterly accounting reporting,
  • Reviewing/checking accounting entries in the accounting system,
  • Review of working documents (interest, calculation, amortization/depreciation tables, …),
  • Review of annual accounts and handling process of approval annual accounts,
  • Review of periodic and annual VAT returns and handling communication with VAT administration,
  • Preparation or review of corporate tax returns and handling communication with Tax authorities,
  • Liaising with Service Providers (law firm, audit, notary, etc) both in Luxembourg and abroad,
  • Assisting the client audit process,
  • Good knowledge of the Luxembourg Companies law and experience of Board meetings and transactions.

  • You have excellent legal writing skills and a proven ability to handle confidential information with independence and highest discretion;
  • You communicate well in French and English with clarity and pedagogy. French is mandatory (both oral and written). Another foreign language would be an asset (Spanish, Italian, etc).

 

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • You demonstrate at least 5-7 years of working experience in a similar job;
  • University degree (BAC +4) in Accounting or Finance or Bachelor;
  • Strong skills and experience in Luxembourg Accounting or Finance within (ideally) a Luxembourg fiduciary;
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office tools (Excel in particular), mandatory use of BOB50. Knowledge in Fista, Denarius and Fisc-In will be considered as a plus;
  • Excellent grasp of English and French language (both written and oral).
