Electronics Technician (m/f)

Located in Echternach / Luxembourg

 

Your responsibilities would include:

  • Inspecting suspect and reject parts with electrical failures from the production in Echternach
  • Performing statistical evaluations and documenting the results
  • Maintaining a failure matrix as knowledge base for electronics failures
  • Defining and improving the methodology of analysis of suspect and reject parts in the quality inspection center in Echternach (e.g., improvement of existing evaluation tools, work instructions and defined processes)
  • Performing measurements with the coordinate measurement machine (CMM) by programming and saving inspection routines and using pre-written programs
  • Verifying counter blocks
  • Investigating and preventing production rejects
  • Transferring and reporting of information 

 

You would need to meet the following requirements:

  • Technical degree, preferably related to electronics
  • Minimum of two years of work experience in a related field
  • Good understanding of interaction of electronic components and dimensional tolerances
  • Strong observational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and schematics
  • Good MS Office skills - especially MS Access and Excel
  • Fluency in English and German is required
