To help further expand our (tax) practice in Luxembourg we are looking for a

 

Junior TAX lawyer / advisor with 0 to 2 years tax experience 
(in a law firm or international tax/accounting firm)

 

Description

As part of our dynamic team, your role will involve a diverse range of tasks, primarily focused on assisting clients with their annual (tax) compliance as well as offering advise – alongside one or more experienced colleagues – on both individual and corporate income tax matters of Luxembourg, mainly in an international setting. Additionally, your responsibilities may extend to providing support in tax litigation cases.

  • You will search for solutions and develop tailor-made strategies that comprise not only tax aspects but also cover legal and accounting aspects.
  • You will assist in the implementation of structures and assist in the (tax) review of legal documentation thereby liaising with the colleagues from the legal/regulatory department and interact with clients, external parties (e.g. notaries, banks, administration companies).
  • You will assist our clients in the preparation of their Luxembourg tax returns and their follow-up with the Luxembourg tax administration.

 

Profile

  • You have a university degree (Master2) in Law or in Economics or Business Administration.
  • You have a strong understanding of the Luxembourg tax law and are proficient with numbers.
  • You have gained relevant work experience in the field of taxation.
  • You are fluent in English, both in writing and speaking.
  • You are eager to learn and develop continually.
  • You are creative and solution oriented.
  • You are a team player with strong communication skills (both orally and written).
  • You have the ability to conduct detailed legal analysis and provide practical and accurate solutions.
  • You are flexible, can work independently and are able to manage pressure effectively.
