As a Supply Chain Manager for GPORT, you will be responsible for a reusables product and its end-to-end execution across the EU / UK supply chain. You will interface with internal customers and assure supply. You will have the chance to craft requirements, work with internal and external stakeholders, and serve as an enabler to building requirements and refining demand signals.

You will work within program requirements, enable supply assurance and continuity of supply for reusables and defect reduction for specific aspects of the global reusables supply chain. You will be responsible for a portfolio of projects and build KPIs, ensure they are measurable, actionable, and auditable while working with diverse stakeholders as the interface for reusables non-inventory processes and solutions in the supply chain.

 

Key job responsibilities

  • Execute demand planning and execution support for overall real-time end-to-end completion on program objectives.
  • Identify regional opportunities and find regional or whole-business based solutions.
  • Work with remote partners across global stakeholders - focusing on EU / UK - to understand current processes for the support of reusable goods and services.
  • Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to show performance and proactively identify risk in the supply of key Non-Inventory supplies.
  • Assigned and focused on a single reusable type as a collateral project, focusing on current execution improvements.
  • Create quality analyses on a day-to-day basis

Our mission and purpose: Build, implement, and sustain global solutions for Reusable assets in support of Amazon Operations. We deliver sustainability, maximize productivity, and minimize cost.

GPORT is a team spread across multiple different time zones with multiple different and dynamic forces acting through it, with it, and across it. We should lead “purpose-first” and use our leadership philosophy and mission as a baseline for how we interact with each other and with other teams.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
  • Experience in program or project management
  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
  • Experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
  • Experience in supply chain
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Experience leading process improvements
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
