Amazon Community Operations is helping Amazon become the most in-demand company locally, by anticipating our communities’ needs and building positive net impact anywhere we operate. Amazon’s core competency in end-to-end logistics is one of the primary reasons that communities turn to us for help. We are hiring a Program Manager (L6) who will be focused on building relationships and programs to extend the community reach of our pro-bono logistics offering.

 

Key job responsibilities

  • Establish new relationships and build long-term strategic partnerships with non-profit and community partners
  • Operationalize programs in desired geographies, deeply understanding community needs, partner recruitment, forecasting, reporting, and internal/external content creation.
  • Develop data-driven narrative proposals for new initiatives, evolving programs, and mechanisms to solve customer and partner needs.
  • Work with subject matter experts, partners, and other stakeholders to develop both internal and external facing content when needed that meets audience and program requirements in creative and engaging ways.
  • Event planning and support for both partner and Amazon led community-facing events
  • Coordinate high-level discussions between partners and CommOps leadership that drive towards shared goals and new innovations that aim to uplift communities.

 

10-20% travel per quarter

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relevant program or project management experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
  • Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Social Work, Public Administration, or equivalent education/experience
  • Relevant experience working directly with the Federal, State, and Governments, Non-Profits, and strategic partners.
  • Demonstrated experience in account management, and owning customer facing communication including leading in-person or virtual customer meetings, product demonstrations, or trainings.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting the design, implementation, and optimization of cross-functional initiatives at scale
  • Experience in content creation

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA or Master degree in related disciplines
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute initiatives/portfolio with competing priorities to successful implementation
  • Demonstrable problem-solving, mathematic, and analytical skills using data to drive decisions in a business environment
  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency in effective communication of goals and strategies across multiple leadership levels of an organization
  • Proven ability to influence internal/external stakeholders without authority to adopt new processes/initiatives
  • Experience with running social media posts
  • Experience using Excel
